About Our Face Coverings

Here at Okoco, our priority is your comfort and safety. Our face coverings have been designed according to guidelines set by the European Commission (CWA 17553:2020 – Community face coverings), as well as the French Standardisation body AFNOR’s specifications (S76-001). Where possible, we use three layers of fabric in our masks, including a tightly-woven internal component, or have a filter pocket option, in line with WHO,  the World Health Organisation’s advice for face coverings. 

All our face masks are handcrafted in the UK. We source our materials from high-quality European fabric suppliers who prioritise sustainability to ensure that our premium masks are environmentally friendly and completely safe for your skin. Our linings are GOTS certified organic and Oeko-Tex standard 100, providing quality assurance that they are free from harmful chemicals, as well as produced in line with socially ethical guidelines.

Flat fold Barrier Face Mask

 

The design for this style was developed in line with AFNOR patterns and is flat-folding for convenience. It features a removable nose clip and adjustable elastics for extra security. This is a good compromise if you like the rectangular mask style (without a central seam), but don’t want too many pleats or folds lines! It comes in two different sizes for adults and children.The design is also very comfortable for men with beard.

Dimensions

• Adult (One Size): Approx. 20 x 8 cm (8 x 3"), expands vertically up to 17 cm (7") to cover nose and chin.
• Child (One Size): Approx. 17 x 8 cm (7 x 3"), expands vertically up to 16 cm (6") to cover nose and chin. 

 

Pleated Face Mask 

Similar to the Flat Fold Mask, this triple-pleat design has no central seam and its pattern resembles that of a surgical mask. It is a great format to show off our lighter fabrics and prints with metallic detailing. This style of face mask also features a removable nose clip and either elastic ear loops. It comes in one adult size.

• Adult (One Size): Approx. 18 x 9 cm (7 x 3.5"), expands vertically up to 17 cm (7") to cover nose and chin.

Sleek Fit Face Mask

Our sleek fit style mask makes it possible to have a snug fit with great coverage. There are no pleats in this design thanks to the sagittal seam, so you can really let your favourite prints shine, and it still folds to a convenient size. These come with adjustable elastic ear loops to provide the best comfort. The design is especially popular with men, and comes in the widest range of sizes out of all our styles.
